I received a letter from city stating that they were going to fine me for having to respond to calls to my address. Most of the calls were involving city code enforcement which were unfounded after they investigated the incident. I believe city police also had to respond a couple of times also. There was a total of 16 calls made in just 2011. I believe it is the neighbors. Do I have any recourse?
If they do fine you, there will be a greivance process and you can go to the hearing and present your information there. Have all your facts and witnesses in line and ready to go the the hearing with you.
If you have proof, or can get proof, that the neighbors are doing this, you may be able to file for a restraining order.
