Seven years ago I got some traffic tickets that my employer at the time promised they would pay and did not now I can not renew my license
Have you not been driving the last 7 years? Otherwise, how would you not have known that your driver's license has been suspended all these years? In WA, you would have to have renewed your driver's license at least once within 7 years.
The WA Department of Licensing can tell you what you must do now to be able to get a valid driver's license.

The ONLY option is to pay it. The court might be willing to remove the fine from collection and let you pay directly.
