On 15 Aug 2018, I hired an agency to represent me and submit a diminished value claim on my 2016 NIssan Rogue. Diminished claim was for $7075.00. The at-fault-insurance informed the agency they wanted to send their own appraiser to visually see the repaired vehicle, however, as of today this has not happened. On Sep 16, the adjuster claimed he had not received the subrogation claim from my insurance and in order to proceed with my diminished claim, their insurance company must first finalize the subrogation claim/ Yesterday, he now states he is still missing some paperwork. I called my insurance to relay the message and the told me all required documents were sent Aug 30, 2018. Looks to me that the at-fault insurance is stalling or is this a normal turnaround for this type claims.
I need some direction of what I should do with this claim
You will get the attention of the slow working Insurance adjuster if you file a complaint with the Texas Insusrance Commission. Call them at: 1 800 252 3439 to get started.
