I received a DUI and was placed on informal probation in June 2017, but received a disapproval letter from my boyfriend's state prison denying visitation until they receive a written consent letter from the probation officer and a verifiable Minute Order for the final disposition of my case. How do I obtain these things? Thank you!
You can get a certified copy of the minute order from the court clerk. You'll have to politely explain to the prison officials that you don't have a probation officer because you're in informal probation, and ask what else you can provide.
This answer is a general discussion of legal principles by a California lawyer. It does not create an attorney-client relationship. Free initial consultation applies only to individuals with current or potential criminal charges in Butte County, California and adjoining counties.
As Mr. Marshall wrote, you can get a copy of your disposition (paperwork from your sentencing hearing) from the court, your lawyer or your records (if you were given the paperwork at the conclusion of the hearing). Because you are on court/informal probation you do not have a probation officer, the minute order will reflect that.
This answer is not legal advice, it may not even be relevant to the question answered, it definitely is does not establish an attorney/client relationship.
When in summary probation in San Diego, you don’t have a probation Officer.

Go to the business office and get your official paperwork (if you dont have it already). If it says summary probation then tell the prison you have no probation officer.
This reply should NOT be considered a legal opinion of your case / inquiry. At this time I do not have sufficient factual/legal documentation to give a complete answer to your question and there may be more to the issues you raised then I have set out in my brief reply
