I was in an auto accident that created different brain injury issues. Because I was recovering from a previous brain injury, the insurance company is saying that it is preexisting. Due to the complexity of the case, I am having a difficult time finding a lawyer willing to take my case. One lawyer was kind enough to file a complaint to stop the statute of limitations and a demand for a jury trial, yet was unwilling to represent me. While I continue to attempt to find a lawyer, I still need help.
You need to work on getting an attorney. You will not be able to represent your self. If they filed a cross complaint, then you need to answer the cross complaint by filing an answer. The question is confusing. It is unclear whether they have answered or been served. The next step is to sue the lawsuit on the parties. There may be rules about this so you should diligently try to serve the documents on the named parties.
