A shop charged me for motor mounts. Months maybe a year later I take it to a different shop and the man tells me I need 2 motor mounts I say how often should mounts be replaced he says 10 years it's been 2 yrs. max. So that means they just told me they fix the mounts and they did not fix it. What should I do?
Is that what the new shop told you or is that what you assume. If the new shop is willing to say that the motor mounts were not replaced you can sue the first shop in small claims court for the cost of the repairs. But I suspect if they hadn't been replaced at all you would have known it a lot sooner than one year later.
