I brought my pair of Maui jim sunglasses into the optical area at Walmart. I asked them to tighten the screws on the arms. 20 minutes later they come out saying they broke one of my lenses. They are only offering me to replace the lenses with Walmart brand lenses or to pay for half of how much it actually costs to fix them because the lenses come in pairs. “Since they broke one I have to pay half”. Neither of these offers are reasonable what should I do?
How much did you pay for the screw tightening? Nothing right?
Is not a problem one of the risks ?
Also, what kind of lenses are in the glasses? And why must you replace both if one will be sufficient?
Made to order lenses do not usually come in pairs
