Situation is ex wife has the kids. Over the past year she has:
Lived with a registered sex offender, moved in with a boyfriend, now moving in with her best friend and her boyfriend and their kids (3 adults 4 kids in the house)
When I got my kid in February I found umbilical cord still stuck in my 4 month old belly button
My 4 year old still has cradle cap that she has not been taking care of
She is not being my son to speech therapy like he is suppose to go
My 1 year old has a swollen, scabby red bump on the back of his head (looks like a bed sore) that she won’t take him to doctor for because she says it’s a birth mark
She is driving them around in a vehicle that’s so bad she cannot meet me halfway to go get my kids like the agreement says
She is back in her anti depressants (I understand people do have issues but she’s off and on of them all the time )
Her and the boyfriend broke up after 6 months so now I’m sure my 1 year old is confused on who his own father is
I am by no means perfect but I am in the army with my own house and able to support the kids no problem.
Do I have any chance on getting custody with the information I have provided?
Yes, you do have a chance of getting custody with the information you've provided. You should hire an attorney.
You need to consult with an attorney and file for custody immediately. She is not taking care of the children and the fact that she is willing to put the children at risk with a registered sex offender speaks volumes.
Take a photo of: the cradle's cap, bed sore, umbilical cord and her beater car (especially brake tag & inspection sticker). Print the sex offender registry. Hire a custody lawyer.
