TRY CALLING THE CHIEF OF POLICE OR CALL THE DETECTIVE BUREAU AND FIND OUT WHO THE OIC IS ON THE CASE. FAXING OR SENDING A REGISTERED LETTER MAY BE HELPFUL AS WELL. BEST OF LUCK.
