My ex husband and I divorced when my daughter was three. He paid 6 months of child support and disappeared. He has never carried her on insurance either. I attempted 3 times to get child support again and each time he and friends would harass me and my daughter until I stopped. He then started moving around to avoid being found. My daughter is now 18 and we would like to go after him for back child support. What do I need to do?
Simple, retain a domestic lawyer to review your case. The length of delay in collecting child support will be a factor however.
