I’m suspended in North Carolina and Ohio. NC wants me to get straight in Ohio before I get my license in NC. I have a $710 reinstatement, I need and sr22 until 09/25/2020, and I need a release from Forsythe county court to show Ohio BMV. Insurance companies said I can’t get an sr22 in Ohio if I live in NC. I’m stumped and I really need help getting my license. I’ve been without a license for a little more than 5 years
NC does not do SR-22’s; SC does but SC agents may not be able to write the policy for you. It’s worth an ask, though as is contacting a NC insurance agent to see if they can write you an SR-22. I’m going to call a friend who’s an independent agent in NC and ask her- if you want to privately email me through avvo I will let you know what she said andbifbit’s possible to write it, I’ll get you her name and number..
