Hire another attorney of your own. It is unclear what kind of appeal you mean. If it is from the General District Court to the Circuit Court it should be pretty simple. If it is to the Court of Appeals then you really need someone specializing in appeals. Good luck

You could hire a private attorney to handle the appeal. If the appeal is to the Circuit Court from a lower court the fee should not be prohibitive. An appeal from the Circuit Court to the Court of Appeals would be much more significant. I wish you the best.
