Perform a search online of a party's name on the county court where the case was filed, which will list the case numbers of all cases with that person's name. From there, the case number can be viewed with a host of information, from entries in the court's docket to the names of counsel of record. If the phone number is not listed on the court's information, look that up under the attorney's name or bar number with the State Bar's website: http://www.calbar.ca.gov/ or using Avvo.

If you look up the case file number and find the public filings associated with the case, those documents are almost certain to contain information about the counsel of record. Attorney Stempler has provided some helpful, logistical suggestions about how to do that in your jurisdiction. I wish you the best in your search, and in this matter more generally.
