Trying to find a pro bono attorney to represent myself in Butler County KS, I cannot afford attorney due to high child support and spousal support. Ex spouse filed a false claim of physical abuse on me towards 1 of my children and emotional abuse on all of them. DCF returned it unsubstantiated, but referred the case to DCCCA for counseling. DCF and DCCCA both agree that my ex is alienating my children from me and DCF suspects that my daughter isn't even safe in her home. I need help for the emotional well being of my children - because DCCCA is involved, DCF can't take the children out of her home (nice loophole)
The three standard avenues to research are: 1) local, county and state bar associations; 2) local or nearby law schools; and, 3) local clerk of court (courthouse). You may check the internet, get referrals and/or attend free clinics. Good luck.
