I suffered injuries from a product made by a company based in MA. I have researched this product and through online resources found out that this injury is a known issue with their product, but the company does not acknowledge or put out any warnings about this potential hazard. I want to file a case in small claims court as I am only seeking damages that fall well under the $25,000 limit. How do I go about filing a small claim in my state of residence, TN?
Your small claims court may not have authority to deal with the case of a corporation not incorporated in Tennessee; without head quarters in Tn.
Further you have not told us how you came to this product: from whom purchased and how?
It is possible that you might have a claim against a local retailer...
