My son was recently charged with criminal speeding. There was no radar, no actual proof of his speed. The conviction was based off of a false police report filed by the officer. My son has a video showing his speed at the time of the ticket was 67mph, and top speed in the video of 80mph, which is not criminal speeding. My son asked to see emails from his lawyer, sent to the prosecutor, and he never showed him. I feel like he as NOT represenative properly and is facing a lifetime conviction based off of a false police report. How do we 1st, try to appeal that charge, to see if it can be reduced or expunged from record after a year? And move forward with pursuing filing a complaint against this officer?
