Filed Eeoc complaint as investigator advised there were two violations by my employer of a protected activity. My boss came into my office berating me about an issue that he did not discuss with me previously or investigate. It was the second time, that he blamed me for something without investigation and that was unfounded. However, he did not do this with Caucasian counterparts. I filed a complaint with HR. After filed, boss gave me a final written warning a week later without verbal or a written warning and any details of any prior instances. I asked for examples of prior issues warned for. Boss advised me to contract HR. HR never provided, however, dismissed my complaint. Boss removed my security access to security system a week after the final warning. I tried to stick it out, but, was being left out of meetings. Finally, my access to email was revoked 5 months later. My boss which never texts me asked when I was arriving that day. I responded with an email of my resignation letter as it felt like a hostile environment. I have emails and statements about this and additional situations. How do I progress lawsuit if possible to prove retaliation and or disparate treatment?
How long ago did you file the EEOC charge and have you received a right to sue letter. Without knowing more details, it appears that you could have a possible retaliation claim. You should discuss the situation with an employment attorney.
