My husband is a salesman and works on commission. It is a large company. When a customer does not pay an invoice within 60 days the company deducts whatever commission he made from him check. When the customer pays the bill , the company does not give him his commission back. How is this legal? He is just a salesman, they have a billing, and collection department.
Your husband needs to review his contract with the company to determine how the commission is supposed to be calculated. If he does not feel that the commission is being calculated correctly, he can consulted with an attorney that handles litigation matters or employment matters. Good luck.
