So this guy didn't have a license so I put my information and the car under my name so that he would have it to drive to work, now he said he will pay me and up until now he hasn't, how can I take my name off the car..plz help!
First, I'm sorry for your troubles. Was there a loan involved as well? If so, you would probably want to take your name off the loan as well so your credit is not damaged. In order to talk your name off the title, you would most likely need to contact the Florida Dept. of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Here is a link to a website that may answer your question: http://flhsmv.gov/dmv/transfer.html. Best of luck.

If you were a co-signor on the car and there is an outstanding loan, you cannot until the car has been paid. If the car is paid, you can transfer the title to him.
