My ex-had/has records of protection orders that were placed on him within the last two years because he had domestic issues with his deceased mother who was in hospice at the time and her caregiver, but they suddenly disappeared off of the AZ public records website. I think he may have asked them to be expunged or him applying for a protection order recently himself made them hidden or unavailable. He lied in court today about them but I know they were there just before he had applied for a protection order on an open case in family court that he was denied. Can you please help me figure out what he may have done?
Protection orders are Civil matters and cannot be expunged or sealed in every state I know of. So, you cannot get them hidden from the public or expunged.
You have to go and get the records directly from the court.
