I filed child support on myself (father of child) and i started paying child support via money orders and would send them certified mail so i have all documents proving this. Yet i have received an email from child support that they will suspend my license because i "havent" paid. The mother hasnt filled out the paperwork stating that i have paid her prior to the court order being settled and now child support is taken out of my check. What can i do so they wont suspend my license? I have all proof and ive told child support twice that she wont do it is there any thing i can do on my end since she wont file the paperwork that i have paid her ?
Go into your local child support enforcement agency and try to clear it with them. If they refuse file a motion with the court.
In the future never pay the other parent directly when there is a court order stating that the office of child support enforcement agency is involved.
