I paid for a vehicle in cash, I have my bill of sale, now the dealer is telling me that I owe $1,500 on top of what I was told to bring in C.O.D for the title and registration. This weekend they sent a tow truck out to REPO it. I showed the driver all of my paperwork showing that I owned the vehicle, and he left my vehicle. He said because that dealer is always doing something shady. I had already filed a complaint against this company, for Fraud, misrepresentation, and selling me a lemon. I have more supportive documents to prove my case. I am at the point I would like to see this company shut down for good. Because they didn't disclose that they were doing business with another business that the state had shut down, and I had previously sued the same people, but I didn't know that this business AutoMax of Brevard, was the same as Foreman Motors. I believe they are laundering money and doing some other dirty dealings with the public at large. They have shown GROSS NEGLIGENCE in my case.
You may need to sue in small claims to force them to give you the title and/or for a restraining order, to prevent them from repossessing the car.
Take your paperwork & story to the police & see if you can get a detective interested. Also go to the Florida government website & make a consumer complaint.
