Im on probation for a year i was violated for weed use. I completed iop and am in aftercare. I take urine screens every week twice a week. I have detoxed or anything but weed is still in my system since i went to court . He keeps drug testing me knowing that i told him that my levels of thc are going down. Even the iop director made contact and told him everything. He is saying he has not been in contact with the iop but they tell me they talked to him. He is trying to find every way to throw me in jail while im trying my best to do everything they ask me to do. Today i come into probation and i dont need to pee. We go to test and i cannot urinate he tells me to wait 3 hours to come back. I told him my girlfriend needs the car to go to a doctor appointment for my children. He says he doesnt care and i have to wait. On top of that he said he is going to put it in as a positive urine without even giving me a chance to drink water. I am getting frustrated with this process. He makes me come every week knowing i am dirty to test me. I have a family and need to work to support them and not go to jail for this. He keeps putting me into a hard place. I need to move on from this.
Unfortunately you have to listen to your probation officer to stay on probation or the alternative is to be violated and most likely go to jail.

Probation isn't easy. You violated so I don't know why you think it's unreasonable to now have weekly tests. And the officer is right that it doesn't matter if you don't have to pee. This is your top priority now. Nothing you've stated has sounded unreasonable.
Listen and do what he says until you eventually test clean, as you will if you keep clean.

You must realize that probation is jail without bars. You can broken the law twice. they think you are an addict and a liar. You need to comply. If you can't pee they think it is because you arr dirty. If you are not totally clean they think it is because you are using.
