Both parents fails drug tests, father was ordered to allow mother visitations n calls which have not been allowed. Child has not seen his mother in 7 months only talked to her a handful of times. In their divorce agreement, neither parent is to have an unmarried partner living with them. Father does have a woman living with him and she is abusive to my nephew. His father does drugs, sells drugs, etc.
The word "retain" implies that you already have custody of your nephew, but I suspect that the child is living in Tennessee, and what you really want to know is how to "OBtain" custody of your nephew. If that is correct, you are going to need to contact a Tennessee lawyer. If that is incorrect, then you need to be more clear about the current status of the child and who has legal and physical custody right now.
