I am 28 weeks pregnant. I made the mistake of taking old prescriptions of pain pills for about a month. I stopped during week 25 . Now I am worried about meconium testing positive at birth. Is there any way i can head off the situation if this happens? Would voluntarily attending group and individual therapy, NA, weekly drug tests (if I can find a place that offers this to me) help starting now? Is there anything else I can do? No withdrawal, baby is still healthy in utero, baby's father doesn't have any drug problems.
I think you need to come clean with your doctor and ask what your options are.
