FL Dept of Revenue Child Support has been holding a tax refund offset from my ex spouse for over 8 months now. He had a large refund coming from 2014 and received an intercept letter. They have been intercepted every year for the past 3 years and is still currently over $10k in arrears. It is an interstate case as he lives in another state and I live here. He called both child support services in his state and here and no one seems to know where it is or what happened; No record. I too had tried calling and got the same run around, they keep passing the buck to the other state but the other state says they would not have it. I can see in public records online (orange county) recorded intercept credits for every year. I had mentioned this to CS and they don't know anything about it.
Get a court order on this. The way to do that is to hire a family lawyer near you.

You need to obtain the record from the state that ordered your ex-spouse to pay child support. After you have that, seek the advice of a family law attorney,
While it's not unusual for a party to have tax refunds intercepted, it is strange that there are no records. Only an experienced family law attorney can help you work through this type of matter.
You need a lawyer. It looks like the state is your problem and not your X. You need a judge to get involved and order the State, starting with Florida, to provide an accounting. Mistakes can happen, but your money can be recovered.
