My husband and I have been separate for 8 months I have separation papers and he is refusing to sign them and I need them done because I'm trying to adopt my foster son and my husband knows all of this but still refuse to sign and I need a legal separation to adopt
You cannot force a party to sign a separation agreement. If you husband is refusing to sign, that option is foreclosed. You have the option to start a divorce action. It might be worthwhile consulting with a local family court attorney to see if there are other ways to get what you need to proceed with the adoption. Good luck.
