We met in front of a judge for "notice to quit" process this was back on Jan 16. The judge has given the tenants till March 1st to leave the property. The tenants left the following week. To this date, they have no power and have not paid rent or water bill. According to a neighbor they have a couple big furniture that they might want to take but they have been stalling to take those out. I live next to the property so I see everything that happens. What can we do? This seems to be intentional. They also notified us that a pipe burst because there was no heat on but the water was not turned off so there is water damage on the property right now but we are afraid to ask for the property or to see it or questions because they think they have till March 1st so they can just keep the property in their possession.
How do you know “they left”???? Go back to court with witnesses to tell the court about this... quickly!!!! You have all burden to prove these facts. Seek access to get the property in a safe status. Hopefully, court will order the items removed by court officer. But if not at least seek permission to stop water damage. Seek an atty’s help next time.... please.
