I've already left New York state because my wife's family member became ill and she had to go back home to MN, I'm on misdemeanor charge probation for 2years and$300 fine which I've paid; I had to leave with her cause I'd have nowhere to go, but MY probation officer said that I had to wait for the transfer first, I left because I didn't have anywhere to live&MN says they can't do anything without New York paperwork, now I think I'm going to jail so what do I do
You have to be persistent with this probation officer but there isn’t really anything that can be done to force a quick action.
Getting probation to transfer a misdemeanor is going to be tough. Consult with an attorney. They might be able to help.
