Cops pulled me over because they couldn’t see my front license plate. They arrested me on some warrants that had already been arrested on and my license were suspended because of child support. My brother was there with a valid license but the officer would not let him drive it home. They never told me that I was under arrest and never read me my rights they just took me to jail and impounded my car. Registration and insurance was all up to date. They will not let me or my wife who’s name is also on the registration get the car back. It’s our only car and we cannot get to work or have a way to take our children to school.
As mentioned if you can clear up and get your license back he will be able to get the car out before the 30 days. However based on the circumstances, I suggest going to the police station and asking when tow hearings are held. At this hearing you can show there is another registered owner with a valid license . Good luck!
Do what needs to be done to get your license reinstated then contact the department that impounded your vehicle. You have to handle your business. This is what happens when you don't.
