I have had a W I like five years ago I also had an ex that parked my car illegally and I didn’t know I had a ticket for it for like over a year but I paid that and now in order for me to get my license they’re wanting me to pay $500 I’m wondering what I can do to get it waived or if I can’t even get it waived
It’s possible to have your reinstatement fees waived. Typically, in order to be eligible, you usually have to be indigent or unable to afford to pay them based on certain circumstances. Ironically, having the ability to drive can get you to a job to pay those fees. You should consult with an attorney and explore your options for getting the fees waived and/or getting a specialized driving privileges.
