I have a 11 year old daughter from my previous relation who is living with me and my husband right now. I am married an year ago and my husband is an immigrant from India. I never files a custody for her and I don't know where my ex boy friend lives and I tried to contact him various times in past couple years through phone, friends and family but there is no luck. We are planning to visit India this March to visit his family, friends and spend a month or two there. We want our daughter to go with us and she is interested to see her grand parents too. Her passport application is approved after attaching a letter which states I don't know where her father is and the list of attempts tried to reach him. Please let me know if there is a quick legal path to get a visa to India for her since the visa application says 'Applications without both parents or guardians notarized signatures will not be accepted'. Thank you.
The answer is still the same. Speak to an immigration lawyer.
