I went to the court to have support stopped and they granted it to stop. But it took to over two years to get the date for court. I had custody of the kids I was paying for. they are still sending bills to my employer and state that I have a case open until I get a refund back how do I find out about that?
If your case is in NH, you need to call the Division of Child Support Services. If your case is with DOR in Mass then you need to call them and get the garnishment to stop based on the final Order. It usually takes a day or two but the need a copy of the Order stopping support payments. Good luck.
