I have been going to a pain management for a year now, and I have had multiple issues with them, but today I get a call saying there was an issue with your urine test, I call back, they tell me I'm positive for very high levels of methadone, ok well THATS ABSOLUTELY INACCURATE, there is no possible way, and they dismissed me from the practice. I'm furious, not because I'm dismissed but because I am 1000% that lab error has occurred and they don't care one bit, they don't want to hear it. I'm looking at their forms and I see no information regarding this other then don't take what's not prescribed. I don't want to just sit back and let this happen
Don't fight it. Just get your records and find a new doctor. Why would you even want to continue treating somewhere that uses a lab that makes mistakes, that doesn't trust you, and that you already "have had multiple issues with"? You can't MAKE them treat you, so just move on.
