I received a speeding ticket in N. Carolina for going 70 in a 55 mph zone and i have a CA license.
The District Attorney's office would not give me any information about the points. They said I have to go to court on my court date to ask my questions. Is there a way that i can remove the points by going to traffic school or paying for them and do i have to go to court?
Hi. The DA’s office is prohibited from giving that info because their job is to prosecute you, bot assist in your defense. So here’s what you do:
1. Don’t take one of those fun driver improvement classes in CA. Chances are they won’t be accepted in NC. And y’all do have some fun classes there.
2. Hire a lawyer in NC to go to court for you. You won’t have to come back to this state for court
3. What gets reported to CADMV in Sacramento is entirely dependent on the outcome of court here.
4. If you pay off the ticket, you’re pleading guilty to it. DON’T DO IT!
