We want to get married, preferably before he, the US citizen gets out of prison (to save time) and me a Swedish citizen. I have a B2 visa and might have to change visa status to a K1 visa. I don't intend to immigrate to the US, we plan instead to settle in Sweden when we can. I have roughly gone through the prison's guidelines for marriage. I'd like to know what difficulties can occur along the way....
Changing from B-2 to K-1 makes no sense.
Go ahead and get married, in accordance w/ prison rules, then go home and start the process of having him immigrate to Sweden.
