My girlfriend is on probation and has drug court which will be completed in the next month or so, with a job and met all requirements however she was just violated because of a car accident she had, on a suspended license unknownly do to lapse of insurance from 3years ago the officer said, but she wasn't arrested just given a ticket...called the insurance company to clear the situation and they said that's not in their data base she never had no such problem...2 weeks later she gets violate because of police contact she fail to tell drug court or the probation officers but they knew she was in an accident
It sounds like you answered your own question. If the suspension order was mailed to her address then she had reasons to know of the suspension whether she actually knew or not. Still, her attorney can make the case to the judge about what sounds like a minor lapse.
If she was required to let the court know of any police contact and didn't then it's a violation. She was made aware of her requirements when she signed her contract to enter drug court.
Whether guilty or not she failed to report the contact with the police and that is a probation violation.
