Hi My name is Jennifer,
I've been on Administrative leave without pay for almost 3 months. I filed a EEOC COMPLAINT last year for Discrimination for a Detention Officer Position that I applied several times. My employer finally offer me the position. While on offsite training, the post order was not in the binder. I didn't know about a no cell phone policy. The person that was training me had his cell phone. My employer have me on administrative leave without pay for almost 3 months, May 22, 2016 make me 3 months on administrative leave without pay. I feel like this is a form of retaliation because I file an Eeoc last year.
On leave with pay? Either way consult with a local employment/labor law attorney. Good luck
It is not entirely clear what happened in your matter, but you may have some sort of claim associated with retaliation for filing a charge with the EEOC. Honestly, you would be best served to sit down with a qualified employment lawyer in your area to discuss your matter in some detail. Good luck.
This certainly could be a retaliatory response. Contact a lawyer of your choosing to go into these facts in detail. You may have to amend your Charge to preserve the claim. Best of luck.
