As I was pulling into a parking space the person in the vehicle parked to the right of me opened their driver side door, and I unavoidably, hit the door. Now, I've been deemed liable for the accident, and know that this not correct.
I don't know what you mean by "deemed liable." Do you have a judgment against you? You should have reported the incident to your insurance company. They will take care of it. That is why you pay your premiums. Good luck.
