If an inmate has a current release date of 7/2016, and has a court ordered work release or house Arrest order for at least 6 months, when is the earliest possible date he will be released from the prison? Does his release date include house arrest time? (As in will he likely be released in July and THEN start house arrest or should he be done with house arrest/Work release by july?)
You should contact your inmate's attorney. That attorney would know the details of the sentence imposed.

The inmates status sheet, which can be provided by his counselor, will provide his release details. This is important so that you can calculate statutory and earned good time credits. Assuming you've already accounted for that and that is why you've arrived at the 7/16 date, you should also know that the Department of Corrections usually flows people to a Level IV facility (work release) during the last 6 months of an inmates sentence. This, of course, depends on whether the inmate has been well behaved.
Hope this helps.
