I have a drug addiction problem and I have recently been cited for possession of oxycodone and marijuana and I was just wondering if there is such a thing as being honest with prosecution/judge to get the help needed instead of jail. Just curious if that’s something possible
The person you need to be honest with is your awyer, then let him work for you to get you the help you need.
Start with being honest with your lawyer. That is the starting point if your hoping to get some form of court ordered/sanctioned help. Let your lawyer do the talking for you.
You need to start by being honest with your attorney and let the decide the best way to approach your defense.
