Due to a heavy rain and wind our condo/ townhome roof got damaged and water started dripping through the attic and into our bedroom, HOA fixed the roof and called the water mitigation folks and dry walls are cut open into a mess, but now they are saying the internal damage is not covered by them and sending invoices to us.
This did not make any sense, The internal damage is caused because of the roof damage. I want to know if this can be a strong case if we want to proceed legally. The HOA document s clearly say " if the damage/Leak is originated from the common area roof, we should contact HOA"
Please help us out..
