I haven't paid for a month due to having to do my own exterminating repairs and tools left in my home I received a warrant of removal for 11/10/14 and my lease was up 11/01/14 I'll be moving into a new apartment 11/15 can I still file for extended stay til 11/15 is it possible to be granted
I changed the topic to landlord/tenant. It may be possible. YOu will need to file an order to show cause in person at the court today.
Usually you can work something out for a short holdover with the landlord's attorney (or landlord). Your question is a bit confusing as to the exterminating and tools left (by whom?)
You might want to sit down with an attorney to go over the issues. If the LL's attorney doesn't want to play ball, you'd need to file for an order of orderly removal.
