I have had custody since my son was born I don't collect child support. I provide everything for him as far as school supplies and school clothes. I don't see how it's right now he could just take him.

I agree with my colleagues. Unless there is something glaringly wrong with the father, the legitimation will be granted. However, just because he has asked for custody doesn't mean he will be allowed to "just take" your child. If you and the other parent don't agree with regard to custody and visitation, the court will decide based on the best interest of the child. You have stated some facts that would support custody remaining with you but you need a professional who can present those facts and argument to the court on your behalf.
