3 years ago, I was arrested in central area (down town LA )
count 01: 647(b) PC MISD
count 02: 653.22(A) PC MISD
I went to court twice and had agreement. Upon the completion of the diversion program the matter was dismissed. but I still have arrest records showing up.
I have a GF now and want to get marry but I have not tell her about my past.. I am afraid she is going to leave me.. and I am afraid my employer will finds out about it...
2 days ago, I visited criminal Lawyer for sealing my record and today I got phone call and I was told that my chances are very slim..
Is it true ??? Is there anyone can help me with this situation?
For a full seal, yes very slim, for a dismissal, very possible.
Your chances of getting it sealed are slim to none. An employer is not allowed to take adverse action against you for an arrest that did not result in a conviction.
