The type of lawyer that handles these matters is called a landlord tenant lawyer, and you can find them on this site. Avvo has a great lawyer finder tool to locate an attorney close to your home. Good luck.
Mr. Lassen is correct. You also consider calling the local health department and lodging a complaint as they have the authority to cite and force removal of the bats.
You should consult with an attorney who handles landlord/tenant disputes. You may be able to obtain relief by calling the department of health in the county in which you reside. If and when you consult an attorney, have a copy of the lease available for them to examine, as it may provide additional information necessary to assist in your claim.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not. What determines Avvo Rating?Experience & background
