My ex is planning to move closer to me (he lives an hr away now) and wants our daughter every other week. I’d rather work out a different agreement so my daughter can still have a relationship with her younger half sibling and still have a consistent schedule. Right now I don’t even get a full weekend with her (he didn’t want her to start preschool, so I compromised so she could do school and only have to miss 2 days e/o wk). I’m not trying to take time away from him, I just want to work out a different agreement other than e/o week when he moves closer. What can I expect in court?
we cannot tell you what to expect in court without knowing the judge and much more about the case. but do not post that here. interview some divorce lawyers in the county in which the case is and get their opinion. hire one.
every other week is a consistent plan. just not the consistent one you want.
if you are not seeking to diminish his time, tell him what your proposal is.
