My spouse has H4-EAD which expires in Oct 2019.
Can we apply for the extension right now based on my new approved I-797 ( I changed jobs recently) .
What is the ideal time frame to apply for extension?
Thanks a lot
No. There is no need for an extension at the moment since the H4 is dependent on the validity of your H1B status not the specific employer you work for.
