I am currently working on H4 EAD and my EAD renewal is around April-May 2020. I understand there has been news that DHS is thinking / planning to revoke H4 EAD around the March 2020 timeframe.
My question is if the DHS does go ahead and revoke H4 EAD around Spring 2020 thus eliminating new H4 EADs / EAD renewals and if Law Firms / Impacted Immigrants file a law suit against DHS H4 EAD revocation in court due to the impact to their lives due to the revocation -
Will the H4 EAD Revocation be Put On Hold till the court pronounces its Final Judgement OR the Revocation will continue to exist Until the Court gives a Final Judgement ? ( I am aware that there is a separate court case going on b/w SaveJobs USA Vs DHS )
First, there is no final decision to stop the H-4/EAD program.
Q: Will the H4 EAD Revocation be Put On Hold till the court pronounces its Final Judgement OR the Revocation will continue to exist Until the Court gives a Final Judgement ?
A: Only the judge can tell us what he/she will order. He/she has the power for a temporary injunction, or not.
