Currently I am working for location A, Role as software tester for Employer A. Current H1B I-129 and -94 is valid until 30 SEP 2017 for this location and role. After March 31st, I am going to move new location B for same employer A and new role as computer programmer. Employer A will file amendment for role and location change & extension since I-94 is going to expire in next 6 months.
I have another employer B who will be filing my H1B transfer around May end. I am afraid & worried to do transfer to Employer B when Employer A extension & amendment is pending.
In this case, Employer A will do H1B extension as well as amendment for new location B and new role as computer programmer. My current petition and I-94 which is valid until 30 Sep 17 is approved for location A and software tester role. When employer B file transfer in May, I will be working for employer A at location B but transfer to employer B will be filed using original petition which is valid for location A.
You should contact Employer B's immigration attorney who is handling the paperwork since they should have all of the relevant information to best answer this question.
